Carlsbad, CA - (February 22nd, 2010) – MRC GOLF, INC. announced that they have won the driver shaft count at 7 of the first 8 official US TOUR stops, including both the WGC - Accenture Match Play Championship and Mayakoba Golf Classic played this past week.  According to the recently published Darrell Survey report, 25% of the field used driver shafts by Mitsubishi Rayon in Arizona at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, and 23% of the field used driver shafts by Mitsubishi Rayon in Mexico at the Mayakoba Golf Classic.
This season, Mitsubishi Rayon has recorded driver shaft victories on both the US TOUR and European Tour, adding to its more than 80 official US TOUR Driver Shaft Wins over the past six years, including 17 in 2009 alone. Mitsubishi Rayon also recently introduced several new profiles at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida including the Fubuki Alpha, Diamana Kai’li and ‘Ilima, all of which have been seen on tour early this season. The new product offerings will be available through MRC GOLF authorized retailers and dealers nationwide beginning March 1st.
