MRC GOLF Introduces KURO KAGE™ Silver Woods and Hybrids

Carlsbad, CA - (Aug 2, 2012) - MRC GOLF, INC. Introduces KURO KAGE™ Silver. Building on the success of the original KURO KAGE™ Black profile, introduced earlier this year, the KURO KAGE™ Silver golf shafts will feature the same High Density Prepreg, positioned in the lower third of the shaft. This positioning will enhance the stability and feel in the tip section of this tip stiff profile designed to deliver extreme stability and lower spin - the perfect compliment to the original Black profile. Our High Density Prepreg has 15% more carbon fiber and much less resin (20% vs. 33%) than found in standard shaft prepreg.

The KURO KAGE™ Silver design features a stiffer tip and mid section, and softer butt section than the original KURO KAGE™ Black profile. KURO KAGE™ Silver is designed for the player who is looking for greater stability and control, with lower launch and spin than KURO KAGE™ Black.

High Density Prepreg

A higher density of Carbon Fibers and less resin translates into increased stability and enhanced feel. The weight saved by using less resin allows Mitsubishi Rayon to have more control over the entire profile.

　Bend Profile

The KURO KAGE™ Silver bend profile, with its stiffer tip and mid section, and softer butt section, provides golfers with an extremely stable shaft that will still provide plenty of feedback. The addition of the High Density Prepreg to the lower third of the shaft allows Mitsubishi Rayon to create a shaft that is stable with a less harsh feel than shafts with similar characteristics.

The new KURO KAGE™ Silver shafts will be available through MRC GOLF Authorized Retailers and Dealers nationwide beginning August 1, 2012 and will have a suggested retail price of $200 USD for the wood shafts and $100 for the hybrid shafts.
