MRC COMPOSITE PRODUCTS CO., LTD OPENS U.S. HEADQUARTERS

CARLSBAD, Calif. (Jan. 10, 2005) - Japan-based shaft manufacturer MRC Composite Products Co, LTD announces the opening of its United States sales and marketing headquarters in Carlsbad, Calif. Establishing this office was essential, after increasing the company's focus on working more closely with the major U.S.-based club OEMs and seeing more top us Tour professionals adopting Mitsubishi shafts. MRC is establishing a U.S.-based sales support team at this location in preparation for the company';s introduction of a top-quality golf shaft to the U.S. consumer market in February of 2005.

The Carlsbad headquarters is under the direction of Hikaru Shiraishi, General Manager overseeing global operations and sales of graphite shafts. Also operating from Carlsbad are Mark Gunther, National Sales Director and industry veteran since 1994, and Larry Bischmann, Director of North America who has worked in the golf industry since 1996.
